Google abandons Quickoffice on Android and iOS

Now integrated tools Google Drive, the Quickoffice application will disappear on iOS and Android in the coming weeks.
Via a lapidary note, Google announced a fairly logical decision: withdrawal "in the coming weeks" Google Play and App Store application Quickoffice mobile office.
For the record, Google had acquired the application in June 2012 and had emerged so free in September 2013. If existing users can continue to use to create and edit documents, the new will not install the application. Similarly, the addition of new features will no longer be in the program.
Programmed death
This choice was predictable, since the functionality of Quickoffice is now fully integrated online tools and mobile Google Docs ie (word processing), Sheets (spreadsheet) and Slides (presentation).
It is also learned during the Google I / O that they were also now compatible with Microsoft Office documents, thus making Quickoffice definitely duplicate and obsolete.
