PaperFold, an amazing smartphone adjustable at 3 screens

PaperFold
Triple phone screen, the PaperFold prototype impresses
In the category of amazing smartphones but that will be difficult to get into your jean pocket, here PaperFold. This is an innovation laboratory created by the Human Media Lab at Queen's University of Canada.
The PaperFold is a smartphone with 3 screens that fit together in a modular way, much like a puzzle, and that can fold in several positions and according to intended use. One can for example use one screen as a touch keyboard, and then the feeling of working on a laptop. It is also possible to imagine many other uses such as displaying a conversation on a screen and a web page on another.

Displaying medium quality but very long battery life
The PaperFold is equipped with e-ink screens, which therefore limits the quality of the displayed data, but also allows for a very long battery life. If today is a prototype, it could however be of interest to brands, we think, for example, the draft of which Motorola smartphone modular Ara is actually not that far from it. We may be in a few years speaks again.
