The latest version of the Google system still growing
As is the case beginning of each month, Google has released the fragmentation indicator of its mobile operating system, Android. Understand is that Google publishes each month the percentage of device running different versions of Android in order to help developers. Nevertheless, this graph is also a good indication of the state of the Android smartphone market.
So, like last month, the latest operating system from Google, Android 4.4 KitKat is still growing, but take his sickness patiently. The new version of the operating system, if it progresses, still very slowly. Finally, the adoption rate of KitKat is 8.5% against 5.3% about a month ago. An increase that can be imagined due to Galaxy S5 and other new high-end smartphones that ship this version.

Jelly Bean large majority
Despite this increase of the KitKat, it's no surprise Android Jelly Bean remaining majority, even a large majority. Versions numbered 4.1 to 4.3 in fact exceed 60% adoption rate. Domination which partly explained by the non-tracking updates by manufacturers, but also by emerging Chinese phones in these versions.

Worse than that, Android 2.3 Gingerbread is already installed on 16.2% and while this version has been out for a little over four years now. These terminals are mobile old still being used by their owners.
