A study by Ars Technica reveals the most time-consuming and owned Steam games, but also that many have never been launched.
If regular Steam users already have an idea of the most played games on the platform of Valve, via games launched by their friends or via bestsellers , no accurate statistics exist. Until today, as Ars Technica has carried out a study (available here) fairly complete and whose calculation method is explained in detail on the site. To put it simply, the study reveals the most owned games by millions of users of the platform, as well as time played on each one or games that have never been launched.
