The former world number one mobile phone costs down. After months of discussions, it completes the assignment on April 25 the U.S. giant's mobile business and its patents for $5.44 billion.

okia survives, but not its phones. After months of negotiations, Microsoft has finalized the purchase of part of the supplier, this Friday, April 25.

Of 5.44 billion dollar, the IT group has acquired the mobile phone activity (3.79 billion dollar) and the right to use patents (1.65 billion dollar) from Nokia. These activities officially become Microsoft Mobile, according to a document revealed by the American press.

The road has been long for Microsoft, which had already announced the acquisition of Nokia in September 2013. Has since had to be approved by the European Commission or the U.S. Department of Justice, but mostly Chinese Ministry of Commerce, which slowed the process.
